Jay Ford is the host and heartbeat of Turf & Talk, bringing grounded perspective, sharp analysis, and real DMV energy to every conversation. Born in Columbia, Maryland and raised in Oxon Hill, Jay represents the full DMV experience—suburban roots, city influence, and a deep understanding of the culture that shapes both.
Professionally, Jay has spent over a decade working behind the scenes in high-level operations, managing programs, budgets, and people in fast-moving, policy-driven environments. That background shows up on the mic as calm delivery, logical breakdowns, and an ability to cut through noise without chasing hype.
Off the mic, Jay is a self-proclaimed Jedi with a deep love for the Marvel Universe, Star Wars, and sci-fi culture. If there’s a multiverse, alternate timeline, or galactic conflict to debate, he’s locked in. That balance—strategy meets imagination—is part of what makes his perspective different.

Born in Washington, DC and raised throughout Prince George’s County, she brings an authentic DMV perspective rooted in culture, resilience, and purpose.
A disabled Air Force veteran, devoted wife and mother, Tanarah blends discipline with intuition—pairing strategic thinking with storytelling and spiritual clarity. She is the founder of multiple platforms spanning luxury lifestyle, business education, and community empowerment, all built on authenticity, alignment, and identity restoration.
On the mic, Tanarah is bold, reflective, and intentional. She asks the questions that matter, grounding conversations in lived experience while pushing toward growth and transformation. Her voice speaks to entrepreneurs, creatives, women in leadership, and anyone navigating evolution without losing themselves.
